City of Eau Claire Engineering staff invite the public to an online Open House on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. to learn about the first phase of a project that will create a new public space between City Hall and the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library.
The Open House period will consist of a short presentation by Engineering staff and project architects at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. Each presentation will be followed by an opportunity for the public to ask questions and provide feedback.
This is the first phase of a multi-year project that will ultimately result in a new Library Plaza that will bridge the areas between City Hall and the Library, giving residents and visitors another public space in which they can enjoy two of Eau Claire’s most valuable resources, it’s library and our beautiful trail and parks system.
In addition to the online Open House, the public is encouraged to take a short survey that will help design the Library Plaza in a way that reflects the Eau Claire community. The survey is available through December 31, 2020 and can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZBYDK72
The Open House will be available online via Webex using a computer, tablet, or smartphone (requires Webex app), or by telephone (audio only) using the dial-in number.
