There have been no significant election issues so far today according to Meagan Wolfe of the Wisconsin Elections Commission. They are keeping an eye on the possible bad weather coming in some parts of the state.
She reminded voters that they must be in line by 8 PM to vote and must have an acceptable form of ID to vote. If you do not have an ID you may cast a provisional ballot and provide ID later. If you are not registered you may register at the polls but must provide proof of your address.
Absentee ballots may still be returned but must arrive by 8 PM to be counted. You should contact your local poll administrator to find out where you may return your ballot today. You may find all information about your polling place, ballot, or local administrator on https://myvote.wi.gov.
Remember you may only vote in either the Democratic or Republican presidential primary. If you vote in both your ballot for that race will not be counted.
According to Wolfe, the number of early votes in this election is lower than in the 2020 and 2022 elections.
