WisCommunity has been selected to participate in the LION Publishers Sustainability Audit program. The program includes a thorough assessment of each participating news business, including actionable recommendations, resources, and up to $20,000 in direct funding to help them take the next steps toward organizational sustainability. We are one of 43 LION Publishers sites that are participating in this round of the audits.

We have completed most of the audit process and are currently awaiting the audit report that will make recommendations about how to make WisCommunity more financially sustainable. We hope to make serious improvements to our news coverage along with attracting more users and members, allowing us to continue on a path to sustainability. Look forward to changes.

You may read more about this program and the other participants at the LION website.
