Rachel Henderson was nominated for board president unanimously.
Abe Smith was nominated as Vice-President and approved unanimously
Clerk nomination was made for Dominique Stewart and she was voted in unanimously.
Karl Palmern was the outgoing Treasurer. A unanimous ballot was cast for Emily Hines to take the seat this year.

A. Resolution Authorizing The Transfer Of Funds, The Establishment Of An Escrow Account With Respect To And the Defeasance of Certain of the General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Dated December 28, 2017
As discussed by the Board on April 8, the district has the opportunity to save approximately $180,000 through cash defeasance for long term debt. The district already saved taxpayers $782,000 through similar debt management in 2022 and 2023.
Funds associated with long term debt cannot be applied to the district's general fund, so these measures cannot be used to fund operations or reduce the 2024-25 budget deficit.
