More people are seeing moose in northern Wisconsin. The state’s Department of Natural Resources says there’s been an uptick in moose sightings in Burnett and Washburn counties. The DNR says moose are rare in Wisconsin, there are only a couple of dozen in the entire state. Most of them walk over from the UP in Michigan. The DNR says most people are probably seeing bull moose that are looking for a female. Conservationists say you should stay away from any moose that you see, as they may charge.
