On Halloween, our thoughts turn to things that go bump in the night — ghosts, monsters and ghouls. “Ghosts, Monsters and Ghouls” also is the topic of the Oct. 31 session of the Thursdays at the U lecture series at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire – Barron County. Jonathan Fritz, a student at UW-Eau Claire – Barron County, will discuss the origins of Halloween, monsters of Wisconsin and monsters around the world. His presentation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Blue Hills Lecture Hall in Ritzinger Hall and will be livestreamed at ricelaketv.com. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
