Milwaukee could soon be home to a WNBA team. The group that owns the Bucks has submitted the paperwork to get a WNBA franchise. The Sports Business Journal is reporting that Milwaukee is among several cities looking to grab an expansion WNBA team. That list includes Philadelphia, Austin, Kansas City, Miami, central Florida, Nashville, Charlotte, Denver and maybe even Cleveland. Milwaukee had a professional women’s team decades ago.
