An invasive fish species is found in Wisconsin. The state Department of Natural Resources says the invasive silver carp was found in the Chippewa River in Eau Claire. The department says jumping fish suspected to be the carp were also reported at the Dells Dam on the lower Chippewa River. The DNR asks anglers who catch what they believe to be a silver carp or other invasive carp to euthanize the fish, keep it on ice, and contact local aquatic invasive species staff.
