There are changes on tap for a local favorite. Molson Coors is is announcing plans to close the Leinenkugel’s brewery in Chippewa Falls. The legendary Leinie’s operation has been in our area for over 100 years. The following was part of a statement regarding the planned closure of the Leinenkugel’s Chippewa Falls brewery, Molson Coors Chief Supply Chain Officer Brian Erhardt saying: Following the end of a large contract brewing agreement and amid an ongoing canning line investment project at our Milwaukee brewery, we’ve made the decision to close two of our smaller brewing operations in Wisconsin and centralize statewide
