Press release

Madison - Representative Clint Moses (R-Menomonie) issued the following statement after
Governor Evers signed Act 75, which provides funding in the amount of $10 million to be
directed to Rogers Behavioral Health to build a mental health treatment facility in Chippewa
Falls.

“Western Wisconsin is currently in a mental health desert with residents being left without care
in a time of need. The facility will provide a range of treatment options for those seeking mental
healthcare, filling a gap we face in the Chippewa Valley and throughout Northwestern
Wisconsin.”

Rogers Behavioral Health has already purchased an 18-acre wooded property in Chippewa Falls
to develop a full-service behavioral health campus providing a full continuum of care for adults,
teens, and children. The new facility will feature inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization,
intensive outpatient, and traditional outpatient care.

“Rogers Behavioral Health’s decision to build this facility in Chippewa Falls will be
transformative for our region. I look forward to watching this project move forward and seeing
the meaningful impact it will have on individuals and families who need support,”
Representative Moses added.
