WisCommunity was always intended to be a community platform. Did you know that you can contribute directly to the site from your computer or phone? We would love to have more content from the community. Adding in content on the site requires creating an account for yourself on the site. Things you can contribute include:
- Event info - is your group having an event? Add an event here!
- Comments - you can comment on most of the content on the site. There is a little box to add content at the end of most pages. Currently you do not even need to be logged in to comment, so you don't need to create an account (though if you do, and you log in, we'll be able to track your comments better, and they are likely to be approved much faster).
- Resources - do you know of a community resource? A shop you love? A restaurant or bar you want to point out to others? You can add them into our resource database.
- You can also contribute articles, news, and more. We will start up new sessions for community members to learn how they can contribute better starting in January.
Steve is a web designer and recently retired from running the hosting and development company Cruiskeen Consulting LLC. Eye On Dunn County is now published by Eye On Dunn County LLC, and publication of this site continues after his retirement.
Steve is a member of LION Publishers , the Wisconsin Newspaper Association, the Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Local Media Consortium, is active in Health Dunn Right, and is vice-president of the League of Women Voters of the Greater Chippewa Valley
