Eye On Dunn County is proud to be sponsoring scholarships for a Citizen Journalism Course at UW-Stout. The course is open to the public and is designed to equip local residents with the skills to produce compelling, well-researched journalistic content. Whether you’re writing for a local publication or your own blog, this course will guide you through the essentials of journalism, from interviewing to editing.
If you are interested in learning how to write for the news, and particularly if you are interested in writing for Eye On Dunn County or other local news outlets, I'd recommend the course. The cost of the course is $149, but scholarships are available to lower the cost to $29 for applicants who fill out the scholarship form and are accepted.
More information on the course and how you can register and qualify for a scholarship can be found at the UW-Stout information page.
