Due to the prolonged warm and dry weather, the City of Menomonie has temporarily suspended its water mains flushing operation for the time being. The city has been somewhat short of water for peak use periods and is currently exploring adding another well to the city infrastructure as discussed in this week's city council meeting.  As things currently stand the city can provide peak-use water unless one of the city wells has to be taken offline.
