COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin continue to indicate that this will be a long winter. 83 more deaths from the pandemic were reported today in Wisconsin. None of these deaths were in Dunn County, which stays at a count of 5 deaths. In Eau Claire County, two new deaths were reported, bringing the total to 48.

State-wide there are 6635 new positive cases, bringing the 7-day average of new cases to 6441. In comparison the 7-day-average on 10/1 was 2445, so the rate of infection is very much higher.

Please continue to try to stay safe. Stay at home as much as possible. If you do go into a public place, please be sure to wear a mask and to wear it properly.
