In a special meeting at 5:30 this evening the Menomonie City Council considered an ordinance requiring mask-wearing in the city. They will also consider an ordinance on attendance limits. The agenda is attached and we will provide a video of the meeting later tonight.

People have been testifying both for and against the proposed ordinance and the meeting has at times been a little rowdy. We will have a recording of the Zoom meeting available later this evening.

At 7:11 PM the council voted 6-4  to not take action on a mask ordinance until a later time. They also voted to postpone action on item 6b in the agenda, an ordinance on maximum occupancy limits for COVID-19.
