The Senate has approved a massive financial bill to relieve the huge losses from the COVID-19 crisis. The stock market had another terrible day, and once again trade was suspended. The bill had passed the House previously, and is being sent to President Trump for enactment. The bill includes free coronavirus testing, and expanded sick leave and unemployment benefits. It also includes benefits for medical and food aid. Details of the bill remain unclear at this time.

The bill was approved in the Senate along bi-partisan lines 90-8. Senator Mitch McConnell told conservative senators who were opposed to the bill to "gag and vote for it anyway".
