On May 18 at approximately 7:35 PM the Dunn County operations center received a 411 call from the Barron County Sheriff's office. A motorcycle accident occurred at 145th St. near County K in the township of New Haven, Dunn County, WI. The motorcycle rider was found unresponsive in the ditch by first responders. Life-saving measures were attempted, but failed.
The Medial Examiner's office responded to the scene and pronounced the driver of the motorcycle deceased. Alcohol appeared to be involved in the crash. Investigation of the incident continues. The name of the person is being held to allow notification of the next of kin.
