Motorcycle Traffic Crash - Fatality

On April 29, 2025, at approximately 4:41 PM, the Dunn County Communication Center received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle crash with injuries. The crash occurred on N1500 block of 420th Street, in the Township of Dunn, Dunn County, Wisconsin.
The Dunn County Sheriff's Office, Menomonie Fire and Rescue, and Mayo One Helicopter responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Deputies located a crashed motorcycle and a male lying in the roadway. The male was the only occupant of the motorcycle and was wearing a helmet. He was transported by helicopter to Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire. The Dunn County Sheriff's Office was notified that the driver had passed away at 6:05PM. The operator was a 55-Year-old adult male.
Preliminary investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling southbound on 420th Street, and the operator put the bike down trying to avoid deer that were in the roadway. He was traveling alone at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff's Office and the Dunn County Medical Examiner's Office.
The name of the motorcycle driver is being withheld pending notifications to the family.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Joseph Kadinger of Eau Galle.
