According to a press release from the Dunn County Sheriff's office a fatal crash took place at 710th St. and 240th Ave, in the Town of Spring Brook this morning. The 911 caller reported a crash of a semi carrying logs and an SUV and stated the SUV driver was not responding.
The Sheriff's Office, Menomonie Fire Department, State Patrol, and Dunn County First Responders reported to the scene. Life-saving attempts were made, but the driver was declared dead by the Coroner. The SUV driver has been identified as Wane Myers. The driver of the semi was not injured. Further details are in the press release.
