It's Earth Day 2020 - the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day. As you know, one way we are celebrating Earth Day here is to sponsor an online showing of an environmental film, The Story of Plastic. We'd like you all to remember the deep ties between Wisconsin and Earth Day, and the pivotal role Gaylord Nelson had in starting the Earth Day movement.
There are many ways you can help to celebrate Earth Day from home, since that is where much of the world is today - at home. There are some links below. The theme of this Earth Day is Climate Action, and you'll find links within the sites listed below to take action on Climate Change. It is ironic that perhaps the biggest move toward improving our carbon footprint has been this pandemic. To all of our readers - take care, and make things happen.
