David Cook rose to national fame in 2008 when he won American Idol Season 7. Since that time, David has earned two platinum selling albums, four Billboard top 10 albums, nineteen (19) Billboard top 25 singles, and three (3) Billboard #1 singles. In total, David has sold 11 million records. His hits include The Time of My Life, Light On, Come Back To Me, Bar-ba-sol, Dream Big, and The Last Goodbye.

Outside of music, David has starred in multiple roles on Broadway. His most recent work was playing Charlie Price in Kinky Boots. He is also involved with multiple brain cancer charities, and performs regularly for the USO and Armed Forces overseas. Here in the US, David headlines 50-60 theater and club shows a year.

The Colfax Railroad Museum will be hosting its 2nd annual train and hobby show at the Colfax Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 30th from 9-2. Last year was so successful that we are doing it again!

What will you see at the show? You will see many model trains and train layouts that will be operational. There will also be vendors selling model scale trains of all sizes. It includes train memorabilia/artifacts, toys, and much more. Also, for the first time we will be having outside CRAFT vendors. Everyone that attends the show will be able to enter the museum from 11-4 half price.

Food will be available for sale at the train and hobby show, at the fairgrounds.

Admission to the show $5
Children 5 and under: Free

Not to mention, you will have the chance to go into some of the railroad cars! Loads of fun for the whole family.

An evening of instrumental standards and improvisations, amongst friends.

Luke Callen is a songwriter and singer based in the Upper-Midwest - who typically performs original music inspired by the natural world. He has toured internationally and released two full length albums of his own. This evening he will be performing a set of original instrumentals - alongside folk and blues standards - as well as some Middle Western improvised sound scapes. He will be accompanied by a handful of creatives from the region - for a truly unique evening.

-All advance tickets are will-call, print at home, or e-ticket. No physical tickets will be printed or provided. A list will be present at the door to assure your entry when you buy in advance.

-Clear Water Comedy is a sponsor of this event, not the promoter. Therefore, Clear Water Comedy pass holders are not eligible for free entry.

Say the name Howard Guitar Luedtke, and little more needs to be said. Howard is a staple in the Blues scene and with good reason. He has 40 plus years of playing guitar in both the Midwest and on the international stage.

In 1964, Howard got his first guitar and today, when he picks up his Les Paul, he will transport you into the world of the blues. He's incredibly talented and his passion and love for what he does shows.

Howard can be seen performing solo, as a duo with his wife Deb Klossner on bass, or with his full band Blue Max, that includes a talented line up of drummers.

Howard's guitar playing is hard, fast and immaculate. He's truly one of those players who lives in harmony with his instrument. That connection only comes with experience and an undying need to share this sound, which runs deep in your soul.
