A meeting was held in Menomonie at 7 PM on Feb. 12, 2020 to discuss the discovery of a wild deer infected with CWD in central Dunn County, and what plans should occur to deal with the spreading issue. The calendar entry for the meeting is here. The meeting started late because the doors to the Judicial Center were locked when everyone arrived. The video is an archive of the live stream. Documents that were handed out at the meeting are attached below.
Note that final decisions of the recommendations to be made by the Dunn County CDAC will be made at the next CDAC Meeting on April 7, 6 PM at Dunn County Fish and Game, 1600 Pine Ave, Menomononie.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Wisconsin Conservation Congress are hosting the meeting. After an informational session, DNR staff will meet with the county's Deer Advisory Council for preliminary discussions on CWD sampling strategies.
