Menomonie, Wisconsin, 09/23/2024 – The City of Menomonie is holding a Clean Sweep Hazardous Waste Collection event on September 26th, 2024, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. This event helps residents safely recycle hazardous waste to protect our groundwater.

Starting Tuesday, September 24th, Bongey Drive between 24th Avenue West and 28th Avenue West will be resurfaced. This project will be completed by Friday, October 4th.

Update from the City of Menomonie on construction work near the dam.
Construction Update:
Xcel has finished installing 110 soil anchors into the bedrock. These anchors will hold everything in place and prevent soil erosion.
The work crews are now preparing the surface before installing shotcrete.
