Breaking update --- due to a ruling today in federal court, the last day to request an absentee ballot is now Friday, April 3. . You must go to Myvote.Wi.Gov and apply for a ballot by Friday April 3.  Election clerks throughout the state are swamped with requests for ballots so you should be aware that if you ask for a ballot this late in the game it will likely not arrive in time for the April 7 election date, but the deadline for ballots to be returned has been pushed out until April 13, which will mean that in essence none of the election results will be closed out until April 13 or later.
