There have been multiple reports that Facebook has been marking totally innocuous posts as spam for the past several hours. I've had that happen myself several times today. Although there have been multiple conspiracy theories about that, ranging from attacks of nefarious people flagging posts to the idea that it is because Facebook sent many of their content-checkers home due to the coronavirus, it apparently is just a bug. According to Facebook's VP of Integrity, it's in the process of being fixed, and the posts will all be returned. As far as I can tell the only thing all the posts being blocked have in common is that they have links to external sites. And we were recently told that Facebook believes all the posts have been restored.

Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam and eggs
Some of you have noticed that as of about 2 days ago the site has been rejecting most attempts to post comments, etc. Also blocking any attempt to TELL US that we're blocking the comments. With some of the site hosting imrprovements we've made, our spam blocking software has gotten quite a lot over-zealous. We're working on that and should have the immediate issue fixed, so you should be able to post comments, etc. again if you're not logged in to the site. Sorry for the issue.
The Democratic Party Wants to Help You Get Rich (by accident)
Sigh-
I noticed this the other day, when I was wondering why the heck I had an increase in Nigerian 419 spam - and took a look and saw that some of it had been forwarded from the Democratic Party mail servers.
Seems the democrats.org web site has an invite page that lets you send emails through the site to invite people to the web site. You can put anything in the email you want. They even make it easy to take addresses out of your address book. No Captcha, no spam control, no nuttin'. A spammer's paradise, just write a little script to exploit it. I haven't seen anybody do this for years - just not good net citizenship. Anyway, it's been noticed. Hasn't been fixed as of this afternoon, but it's been noticed. I keep trying to become one of them high-paid Democratic consultants, so maybe spam alleviation is my in. You'd kind of think they'd know better.
