Devil's Punchbowl Plant Study Results Webinar



<a href=https://fb.me/e/2d53BTkf2>https://fb.me/e/2d53BTkf2</a><br><br><br>Join us for this free virtual presentation to learn the results of the recent plant inventory that was conducted at the Devil's Punchbowl from May through November of this year!<br>UW-Stout Professor of Biology Dr. Amanda Little and Environmental Science student Britney Serafina will discuss the wide variety of habitats that exist in this small 3-acre preserve and the diversity of vascular plant, liverwort and moss species that can be found on site! Wakanda Wonderland

Winter Walking Program



<a href=https://fb.me/e/2pIDDsnqK id=ow21193 __is_owner=true>https://fb.me/e/2pIDDsnqK</a><br><br><br>The Dunn County Historical Society, Health Dunn Right, &amp; Mayo Clinic Health System are partnering up to offer an indoor walking opportunity this winter!<br><br>Where: Rassbach Museum, 1820 John Russell Rd, Menomonie, Wisconsin<br><br>When: December 2022 through March 2023<br>Tuesday - Friday from 8:00 to 11:00<br>*Lunch-hour walking is available but there may be other guests at this time!<br><br>Come walk 5 times a month to be entered into a prize drawing! There will be 2 winners in January, February, and March!<br>For just $3, you can come check out the museum to see if it is the right place for you to walk this winter!<br><br>After your first time walking, we do ask that you purchase an annual museum membership for $30.<br>This will gain you free admission to walk, as well as visit other items!<br><br>Scholarships are available! Please ask the museum staff for more information!

Pillowcase Preparedness Course



Class is expected to be from 10am - 11am *(the presentation time can vary, 45-60 mins) in the Menomonie Public Library Community Room. <br><br>The Pillowcase Project is being offered by Dunn County Emergency Management along with Dunn County Public Health and the American Red Cross. Designed for students in grades 3-5, the Pillowcase Project teaches students about local hazards, personal preparation, and basic coping skills. Through a &quot;Learn, Practice, Share&quot; framework, students learn disaster preparedness and survival skills.
