The library teams up with Mayo Clinic Health System to bring you FREE Yoga.

Are you ready to pause, quiet your mind, and be present? Join us on the library lawn every Monday to bring some calm to your busy days.

* Mondays from 8:30-9:30 am
* June 3-July 29
* in person (No zoom option in summer)
* Bring water, mat, towel, & an umbrella (if you want shade).
* Bad weather? Class will be held in the meeting room.

Yoga provides great benefits, but only you know your own body and limits. As with any exercise, please consult your health care professional with any questions or concerns before starting any exercise program.

Use recycled materials and rubber bands to build boats that can propel themselves through the water! Experiment with flotation, propelling devices, and more -- how far or fast will your boat go?

If this planned activity doesn't interest you, there are plenty of other things that might, including micro:bit hands-on, our new Lego Wall, cardboard construction, magnet wall challenge, wind tunnel and many more. Come and explore! From 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rassbach Heritage Museum in Menomonie's Wakanda Park.

Using simple materials you can preserve flowers and leaves, just like biologists of the past and present! They can be used as specimens to record what's in your yard, gifts for friends, or to help preserve a memento of a special occasion.
