The personnel consent agenda was approved.

   III. ACTION AGENDA
       A. Action to Approve 2025-2030 Strategic Planuita

The Strategic Plan was approved as discussed at the last meeting with two minor changes to ensure that the plan proposes equitable treatment of students. 
       B. Action to Approve 2024-25 Budget Revisions

The budget revisions were approved.

       C. Action to Approve Year-End Budget Transfers

It is expected that the 2024-2025 school year will have increased revenue due to major changes in the district's self-funded health insurance plan. The self-insurance fund was increased by this fund transfer because the fund has not been adequate in past years. 

The year-end transfers were approved. 

       D. Action to Approve Menomonie High School E-Sports Club

The E-sports club was approved unanimously..

       E. Action to Approve Proposal for Staff Perceptions Survey

The proposal for the Staff Perceptions Survey was approved with the addition of questions on staff compensation. 

   IV. DISCUSSION ITEMS/POLICY REVIEW
       A. Annual Student Services Report

17% of students currently have an IEP. 

Hmong and Spanish are the most prevalent languages of non-English speakers in the district.

The district has one nurse and five health assistants.

Health services can provide dental cleanings for students who have no access to dental care.

       B. Annual Seclusion and Restraint Report

Two teachers currently may serve as in-house trainers. 

       C. Annual Review of SDMA Bullying and Harassment Report & Policies

There have been no changes in the policies this year.

       D. Discuss District Work Plan for 2025-26

This is a first review of the policy and it will appear on the board agenda again in August. A discussion took place on the issues of equity and culturally relevant  instruction. Concerns were also voiced about building a more consistent plan across the schools.

       E. Final Review of Calendar of Board Reports for 2025-26
       F. Review Extracurricular Staff Contract Requests
       G. Items Related to Next Meeting Dates, Board Committees, and Reports
