Renowned bassist Jeremy Boettcher swiftly rose to prominence, captivating audiences nationwide with his remarkable versatility and musical prowess. In recent years, he has graced the global stage, touring extensively with icons like Sean Carey and Richard Johnson. Notably, his exceptional talents have been showcased in prestigious venues such as Jazz At Lincoln Center Doha and Jazz At Lincoln Center Shanghai.
The intention of this event is to allow for the general public and WFU members to get together to relax, enjoy one another's company and chat. Light snacks and drinks provided. There are spaces for children to play and mowed trails for folks to walk on the farm. In addition, the farm has a lighted arena space where people can learn, play and watch Kubb, the Nordic lawn game.
If you are interested in meeting other local WFU members, please join us! This event is open to anyone, including all WFU members in the area. Kamp Kenwood families are also encouraged to attend as this will be a great opportunity for camp friends to see each other again.

Are you looking for a chance to meet with people in Menomonie, WI and just talk?
You are not alone. Sometimes I feel like I just need a place to go to talk to people face-to-face. So, a small group of us that have had similar ideas have worked with the Menomonie Public Library to arrange for a time and place where people can just show up to talk.
This is kind of like the unorganized sports activities where people show up and play with whoever shows up. That is what we are doing here, a Pick-up Conversation.
Starting Saturday April 5, 2025, we are having a pick-up conversation at the public Library in Menomonie. Every Saturday morning in April from 9 to 10 am. We will be in the Gesche Room, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Growing up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin might not seem like the best place to hear and learn Rock n' Roll, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues, and Roots, however music has a tendency to find individuals who are looking and willing to create it. Now celebrating his 30th year of playing guitar and performing, a Nick Foytik performance features the originality of a self-taught musician that constantly seeks ways to improve, a professionality that comes with years of traveling and practicing, and an energy that mirrors his undying love for playing music.
Nick has recorded two albums (Up and Downstream and About Time), both featuring 100% original material. He has been touring for the past 15 years, playing the finest wineries, breweries, and bars the Midwest has to offer. Nick has also played a number of festivals and community concert series through the years, including Bonfire Music Festival at Driftless Music Gardens, Jam 4 Jam, Cheech's Deecefest, Blues on the Chippewa, and Tuesday Night Blues.
