Irie Ulrich was born singing. Madison, Wisconsin - AKA Madtown - set the stage for her early debuts in theater, choir, and solo performances. Irie was weird, rebellious, wildly emotional and artistic. Songwriting quickly became an outlet for exploring this fusion of traits. Having been classically trained on the piano and self-taught on the guitar, Irie has learned by book and by ear, inspired by such musical artists as Maggie Rogers, Reneé Rapp, and Billie Eilish. A regular concert-goer and music aficionada, she has finally landed upon her authentic style as a musician. She explores themes of love and complex relationships to make art from the messiness inside her brain. Her greatest joy is collaborating with fellow artists and sharing music.

Randy was our Trail Coordinator and was very instrumental in the process of opening all of the Dunn County roads and City of Menomonie streets.
Unfortunately, Randy passed away before these tasks were completed but he made us promise to keep working at it and not to give up.... We didn't!

Ever watched in awe as horses work at liberty and wondered how? Are you wanting to deepen the connection between you and your horse while learning a fun new discipline? Or have you started liberty and not sure what the next level is? Tiffany Stauffer with Grace & Grit Horsemanship will be teaching a 2 day liberty and trick training clinic May 17th and 18th at the Eau Claire Bit and Spur Club in Eau Claire WI.
Learning liberty with your horses develops a relationship and connection that is irreplaceable, and serves at the ultimate test of your communication skills. It's almost magical when you can influence and control your horse with minimal aids. Teaching liberty is a great way to train horses how to work under pressure and look to their handler for confidence and connection in any situation. This clinic is ideal for people and horses at any stage in their liberty journey looking to go to the next level. The format allows for individual instruction and opportunities to work independently, making it easy to accommodate any level. Topics may include but are not limited to building draw and connection for liberty circles, mirroring work, sidepass, leg yield, spanish walk, lay down, ground tie, recall, picking you up off a mounting block, and more.
If you're interested in learning more about liberty, there are options for auditing, participating and private lessons. Clinic fee for participants is $325 which includes both days and a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold your spot, limited to 8 spots. Auditors are welcome to spectate for $20. There will be a few opportunities for private lessons as well. Thunderhill Speedway is a family-owned 1/6 mile, clay oval track located in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Established in 1993; they have been racing Speedway flat karts and winged outlaw karts for over thirty years, with the addition of micro sprints, midgets and legends! Thunder Hill provides racers and fans one of the finest racing facilities; well designed track, full concession stand of food and drinks. They cannot sell beer, so you are welcome to carry in beer only. (No other carry in allowed), bleacher seating (Or bring your lawn chairs).
Competitors bring their racing machines and spectators come out on Wednesday Nights (Fri-Sat Specials), May through September to enjoy fun-filled nights of exciting competition. Each of the classes run hot laps, a heat race and a feature event!
